About this alarm clock

A simple browser alarm for waking up, reminders, breaks and timed tasks. Choose a time and a sound, arm it, and Clockfresh shows a live countdown and rings with a notification when it is due. The selected sound repeats until you stop or snooze it, with an automatic 3-minute safety stop. It also requests notifications and wake lock where the browser allows them. For important wake-ups, keep the tab open and use a native device alarm as backup.

Questions

What happens if the tab is in the background?

Clockfresh stores the target alarm time and checks it against the real clock, so it catches up when the browser resumes. Browser notifications and wake lock help on supported devices, but the most reliable setup is still an open tab, allowed notifications, sound enabled, and the device kept awake.

Will it ring if I close the browser completely?

No browser-based alarm can fire after the page is fully closed — that is a web platform limit, not a Clockfresh choice. Keep the tab open (you can install Clockfresh and leave it running). For a closed-device alarm, use your phone or OS clock.

Why do I have to tap once before it can make a sound?

Browsers block automatic audio until you interact with the page. Setting or previewing the alarm sound counts as that interaction, so the sound is enabled from then on.

How long does the alarm sound play?

The selected sound repeats until you press Stop, Snooze, or Cancel. If you do not come back to the device, Clockfresh stops the sound automatically after 3 minutes.

Can I snooze?

Yes — when the alarm rings, press Snooze to re-arm it for 5 minutes.
