Random Name Picker
Paste a class or workshop list and pick a name at random.
Picked name
Paste names, one per line, then pick.
Names are saved only in this browser. Use Clear to remove the saved list before sharing the device.
How to use
- Paste names, one per line.
- Choose whether to remove picked names.
- Press Pick.
- Reset the list when you need to start over.
Quick reference
Paste one name per line. The picker chooses from the current list in the browser; names are not sent to a server. Turn on Remove after pick when each person should be chosen at most once before the list resets.
| Setting | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Remove after pick off | A name can come up again, useful for quick cold-call practice. |
| Remove after pick on | Everyone should get one turn before repeats are allowed. |
| Reset list | Bring back the original pasted list after a round of picks. |
| Offline | After one successful visit, this route can reopen from the service-worker cache. Keep the tab or installed app open for sound and live state. |
|---|---|
| Browser limits | Names and settings stay in this browser. Clearing site data removes them, and they do not sync between devices. |
